He moves a hand just above Eren's collarbone, settling near his throat. He curls his fingers than presses in with some force. The nails puncture the skin first, but then he presses his fingers there, dragging them to cut through and break the skin of the other's chest. He doesn't leave large marks, though. It's about pain, not about just being bloodied. But really he just wanted to see for himself what it felt like to injure the guy.
It's not too unlike himself or most humans, which is what Eren had told him to begin with. But he needed to experience for himself. He also doesn't know this guy's pain threshold so he's going to be testing things he knows before escalating it. ]

He presses the heel of his palm on the other's collar bones, fully intent on breaking the bone here, but he is giving Eren a moment to protest it. While he normally wouldn't care about protests, this experience was just as much for himself as it was for the other, and he knows how to be on his best behavior with someone new. Sometimes. He wasn't sure if the other just wanted to have fun being bloodied or if he was prepared to have things broken, too.
